Es el trabajo más importante de tu vida.
Es por algo que la metáfora de "mantener el fuego" sigue apareciendo. Cormac McCarthy hablaba de esto en The Road, la novela que escribió para su hijo. Ahora Alanis Morissette le da su propio giro en la canción que escribió para sus hijos: "Ablaze".

Les cuenta que parece que estamos separados, pero que en realidad somos uno.
Que se van a sentir tristes, que lo que hay no es suficiente y que no importa cuando recuerdan que en realidad, somos uno.
A su hijo lo llama "precioso, gentil guerrero". De su hija admira su fuego e inocencia.

No importa cuán oscuro se ponga el mundo.
